 About Bath u3a

Bath u3a is one of over 1000 u3as spread across the UK - where at low cost you can continue your creative, learning or social interests together with others in a friendly and encouraging atmosphere.  Bath u3a has over 1600 members and we believe in learning from each other.

 Interest Groups

 We have over 100 interest groups that cover educational, recreational, physical and cultural interests.  From Natural History to Art History, Photography to Philosophy, Current Affairs to Cookery - the choice is endless!  Groups meet regularly in local venues or members' homes.  Click here to find out more.  Non-members with enquiries about our group activities can email us at: .

 Monthly Talks

There is a programme of monthly talks, given by invited speakers on a wide variety of subjects.  Refreshments are available beforehand and Committee members are there to help if you have any questions.  Click here to find out more.  Details of the next Monthly Talk are at the bottom of this page.

 Outings

Our members also organise coach trips to theatres, gardens, stately homes and museums, and short breaks.  Trips and outings are only open to members, who must log in to view details of events, including booking forms.

In summary, the u3a in Bath exists for its members.  You can take part in as many activities as you wish.  Members are encouraged to volunteer their time in order to contribute and share, as well as learning from others.  For those looking for activity, involvement and companionship in retirement there is nothing to beat it!

This annual event is an excellent opportunity to find out about the wide range of Interest Groups offered by Bath u3a.  Many groups will be represented, with table displays and group members available to answer your questions.  Refreshments will be available.

This event allows u3a members to promote new and established groups, and to attract new members to Bath u3a as a whole.

Conveners please note: Access for groups to set up tables/displays from 9.30am.  Convenors will be asked to confirm attendance and request tables and other facilities in advance, when invited to take part in mid-September.
